What to Put in Your First Ironing Collection

Start with the clothes you actually need
A first ironing collection does not have to include everything in the house. Start with the shirts, trousers or everyday clothes that you would most like ready to wear. Keeping the first order manageable helps you work out which jobs you prefer to hand over.
Check before you pack
Items should be clean and dry before ironing. Check the care labels, and keep any garment with unusual instructions separate so you can discuss it when booking. Northwich Ironing Services provides ironing only; washing and dry cleaning need to be arranged separately.
Make your preferences clear
Think about what happens when the clothes come home. Would hanging or folding suit your wardrobe better? Tell us about your preferences and any particular items that need attention. Ask about suitability rather than assuming every fabric can be treated in the same way.
Agree the collection details
Collection can be arranged from home or your workplace. Confirm the address, contact details and arrangements directly when booking. There is no need to make a special trip to a shopfront. Most orders are returned the next day, but discuss the timing of your own order, especially if you need something for a particular occasion.
To arrange ironing collection and delivery, book through the NIS website or call 01606 870001. Tell us about your location, items and preferred arrangements.
